MAX PAPIS BRINGS HOME A TOP-20 FINISH IN IOWA DEBUT
As the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series began a five-week racing stretch last week at Kentucky Speedway, Max Papis and the GEICO Racing team looked to keep the momentum flowing from their 11th-place finish in the Bluegrass State. Papis, making his debut at Iowa Speedway, faced a loose-handling condition but continued to fight hard for all 200 laps before crossing the finish line in the 20th position. Johnny Sauter Battles Back for Fourth Place Finish at Iowa Speedway
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series points leader, Johnny Sauter, battled back from an early right rear flat tire to power home in the fourth position at Iowa Speedway’s Coca-Cola 200 Presented by Hy-Vee. His fourth top five finish of the 2011 season and second since running second four races ago, the redemption was well-earned in the No. 13 Safe Auto/Karl Chevrolet. Read more
